Microsoft Exchange Server 2007 contains several enhancements that enable replication. One of them, Local Continuous Replication (LCR), provides a single-server solution using server-based technology to create and maintain a copy of an Exchange storage group (SG) on a second set of disks connected to the same server.

This paper reports the findings of Customer Focused Testing (CFT) based on extensive testing of an LCR environment supporting 5,000 users with 1-GB mailboxes.
