This white paper explores the value of 'ITIL Awareness Training', including using this training as the first step towards aligning IT with the business.  ITIL awareness training is defined as a broad yet detailed enough overview of ITIL practice areas to give IT managers enough information to begin to pinpoint their business drivers for the implementation of ITIL.
